investigation 

The performance issues of a senior member of staff were in question. An investigation uncovered capability issues and potential fraud so the individual’s employment was subsequently terminated. 


It’s estimated the company saved thousands of pounds because the issue was dealt with promptly, thoroughly and effectively.

A team was challenged to improve their management of a business issue. We worked with them as they analysed the problems and sought solutions.


It was estimated that if every department adopted those same solutions, the organisation could make cost savings of around £1m – a massive return on investment.

We worked with a business that had doubled in size very quickly. Not only did we review their staff handbook, but we developed new, fit for purpose policies and procedures so the company could continue to grow effectively and efficiently.

appeal

We were asked to hear an appeal against dismissal in a particularly volatile case. An independent view was essential. After speaking to the individual and the organisation, then carefully considering all the evidence, the appeal was not upheld, so the dismissal stood. 


Both parties were satisfied the process was fair and impartial. A case that was heading towards an employment tribunal was closed.

performance management

We worked with a group of managers who were individually very capable but dysfunctional as a team. We used MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) to assess and explore their personality types. 


Understanding these resulted in a more effective awareness of their strengths and needs. Strengths were developed and needs were addressed. It led to better teamwork from a more dynamic and productive team.
